Starwood Preferred Guest - SPG in Tampa

Hi Everyone:

I am spending a night in Tampa at the end of the month. Just to hang out and spend time time with friends in thw Ybor area. What SPG hotel would you reccommend.. Any recent experiences.

Considering the circumstances, I would recommend Sheraton Riverwalk since they have a shuttle (upon request) that can bring you to Ybor and back if you didn't want to drive.

I would also do a search on Tampa as there is quite a bit of information in the starwood forum on this topic

I would recommend almost any other hotel by almost any chain in Tampa over the Riverwalk. See the below thread for my horrible experience there. I only wish I would have read aviators99's thread before I booked. All I can say the free shuttle and lounge doesn't even begin to cover the hell you'll experience if you stay there.......:td:
