National - Doesn't the 17th come before the 30th in PHX?

What am I missing here? I am going to PHX; and am trying to use this coupon. My travel dates are 9/12 to 9/17 - when I use the coupon w/ on-line res; pop up says "coupon will be expired by travel date". I know I am not brilliant - but doesn't the 17th come before the 30th ;)

And - I can't seem to find any coupon codes that are giving me great rates for this timeframe/mkt - any help?
