Cathay Pacific Asia Miles - Cathay from Aus to Pek

Hi All

What are the planes like for this trip? are the new shell like seats with extra pitch in planes used from aus?

I note many questions on the forum re seat classes J etc, is there a choice is there? I thought you just got stuck with what the agent booked. Sorry if that sounds dumb, but I thought economy was economy. lol . If you can have some type of preference what is the better?

No - you will get the standard economy seats; all flights from Australia are the same in economy.

And the new ones (which are in one plane which won't be flying to Aus) don't have any extra pitch as far as I am aware.
