Cathay Pacific Asia Miles - Upcoming CX flight in J

I'm asking OBO my Mom who will be flying in J from SIN-JFK-LHR-JFK-SIN:

1. Will she earn 125% of MPC qualifying miles? I believe she does but I do not remember

2. What's the difference between The Wing and The Pier lounges?

3. Will these be the new business class seats:

There is no SIN-JFK for CX. I suppose you mean SIN-HKG-JFK. There are two flights for HKG-JFK, one on 346 and one on 744. CX does not have JFK-LHR.

Yes, but there is no CX flights for JFK-LHR.

Not much difference for the J side. I personally like The Wing because of better view.

Probably not. Again no JFK-LHR for CX.

4. Are there any other helpful advice to make her flight more enjoyable, though I suspect she'll be sleeping most of the time
Select good seats for her. Everyone has his/her preference.
