I am planning a OW RTW for next year and will be taking a decent amount of those flights on CX. I think I remember seeing that some of the planes are sold as two class planes but there is F-seating. Is this true? And if it is, can someone provide some clarity on the matter. Also, with regards to the 777s, do any of the "777" or "773" models come with with F? According to seatguru they do not, but I thought I would ask the experts

For 3-class sold as 2 it is occasional regional flights that are flown by 744s or 3-class Airbuses, generally to DPS, and sometimes to CTS. CX is quite prone to equipment substitution, so "3 sold as 2" is not something you should ever rely on.
None of the current 777s come with F, and they all come with the Regional J seat (and no AVOD). If you are on a regional route which has a choice of aircraft types then take the long-haul configured flights if possible to get better J seats and AVOD.
Note that from late this year CX will start to have 77Ws (777-300ERs) which will be configured with the (new) 3-class seating for long haul use, and I guess they will also pop up on some regional sectors from time to time.
