American Express Membership Rewards - FHR and other Plat Benefits

Simply amazing!
I should of used it more often. I just booked a room in Prague for the family in IC for tomorrow. Junior suite was 50euro less than what the hotel wanted direct, plus I got a 100USD credit and free breakfast. Plus I'll get some room upgrade, either via my IC Ambassador status or the FHR room upgrade.
I got a bunch of restraurant recommendations and travel info for Prague.



I did use it once before to get a reservation in a booked restaurant in Keystone same day, but I really got to start using it more.

I love the service and even have a favorite Plat Concierge that I wish I could call directly each time. (Does anyone know if you can do this??) If nothing else, it saves me money and time to have them call and make all my international restaurant reservations ahead of my arrival, and make the necessary re-confirmation calls when needed. For a recent trip to Rome, where I've been a number of times and knew where I wanted to dine, I just called with my list of restaurants, dates, and times, and they did all the work and sent it back in one handy email I could print out.

Hi, Yes you can call your favourite one (at least in Oz/NZ you can). I have number and email address for mine. Maybe ask next time you talk to them.

I have a direct extension for Amex Business Travel agent who books my FHR rates when I travel. She knows exactly what I am looking for and does a search and calls me back. No wait for different prompts and you do not deal with different agents each time. I just asked for her direct extension once she found a great deal for me and provided excellent service.
