Cathay Pacific Asia Miles - AA booked ticket - how to see CX flights/seats online?

I recently booked a trip via AA that includes CX flights (on CX code/metal). AA has given be both the Amadeus PNR & CX locator but I cannot see the CX segments from any Amadeus based tool. My BA flights for the same booking are showing correctly both on checkmytrip.net and ba.com but the CX flights are nowhere to be seen in real time. I thought CX uses Amadeus too so I am quite confused why those CX segments are not showing at all?

1. AA couldn't have given you the AMADEUS code as AA does not use AMADEUS but Quick Res - a off shoot of SABRE.

2. CX does not use AMADEUS. They use their own system called CUPID.

3. You cannot view CX flights booked on other airlines' CRS unless you view them through those airlines' CRS view such as virtuallythere or viewmytrip.com. But still you will not be able to view seat maps.

4. You have no way of choosing CX seats other than through CX res systems and the only way to do on line check in is when you have an asiamiles or Marco Polo Club number on the file.

OK, thanks for the insight. AA actually gave me 3 different locators:

1. BA (6 digit code that works both for checkmytrip.com/ba.com), I thought this was same as so called "amadeus PNR" but obviously I was wrong, anyway, with this I can see all Amadeus segments perfectly fine everywhere.

2. AA (again 6 digit) - works for aa.com and shows all flights but no updated info for BA/CX (if I change a seat on BA/CX flight by calling/with MMB it doesn't show on aa.com)

3. CX (5 digit) - cannot do anything with this w/o CX account.

On previous occasions when I have had bookings with multiple OW airlines (issued by an Amadeus carrier) I have seen all the CX flights correctly and on real time with the same PNR number, that's why I thought CX uses Amadeus as well. This AA/Sabre booking is the first time I am having any problems with CX.
