MilesBuzz! - DL AMEX triple miles for Shell gas purchases.

I received a notice today that from Oct 1 - dec 31 ,2002 I will get triple miles on all SHELL gas station purchases. This is a total waste for me as i never purchase from SHELL.

I didn't get the promo, but Shell is my main stop here in PHX. Wonder if it's across the board?

Rats! Most shell stations are out of my way.

I guess if I see one I will use it, but not really going to go out of my way to use them.

It says promotion is for targetted members only...You dont have to register online which means they have a list of skymiles members they sent the promotion to.

I got a postcard also but it was for Texaco gas stations. It also said that this was targeted.

I got a promo today and it was for fast food restaurants!

debo_nair: Maybe Delta and Shell are hoping you will use Shell. They really would like you to use Shell. They will even give you triple miles to use Shell. Hint-Hint. They really would like to see you use Shell.
