Hi
Well stayed at this hotel Tuesday and Wednesday this week. The hotel has a free shuttle bus from Linate airport and runs every half hour. For info it picks up at the arrival door 8 beside the pharmacy.
Anyway, on arrival at hotel was immediatly greeted and informed that I had been upgraded to a superior room on the 11th floor:D. A very good start to the stay.
Went upto the room, free gift was a bottle of water but since I received an upgrade whos complaining.
The room had a large super kingsize bed in it, which basically took up a large part of the room. Nice air conditioning which was certainly needed as the Temp in Milan was around 35deg.
Pay TV not working for the two days in the hotel but at least it had BBC world service and CNN.
The hotel has a nice bar (but exspensive 4.50euros for a cola). Two resturants both of which I skipped and just had room service, lovely pizza and they are not skimpy with the size of the pizza :p
There is no club lounge (that I could find anyway).
It was only a short cab ride away from the place I was working so was ideal for me and good value for money 159 euros a night (no breakfast), considering my workmats stay in a dump or 120 euros and no aircon, I think I got the best value for money plus all the lovely points........
Thats about it, but I will stay at the hotel again in the future, can be a good points earner for me, a nice new addition to the list of places. Now if only the CP in Liverpool was a bit more resonable, then I would could use CPs for near enough all my works visits.......:D
