MilesBuzz! - Who gives FF miles for shopping online?

Due to the Holiday season soon approaching I would like to complete all holiday shopping by making online purchases while receiving FF mileage.

Any suggestions for carriers AA , NWA, US Airways, other which offer online merchants? I am looking for a varied selection, as extensive as possible. All suggestions are appreciated.

There are plenty, but caveat emptor.

Search the S.P.A.M. Forum for reviews on those.

There is the old ClickRewards which gives AA miles, in 500 mile increments, but this place went down a few months ago, and I am not sure if its worth it.

My favorite is MyPoints, Alaska Air, and HHonors points.

Also there is AirMilesMart, but have not had any experience with them. And GoldPoints, which their miles just got devaluated recently.

For AA, go to aa.com. In the navigation bar at the left mouse over AAdvantage, then Partners & Mileage Programs from the list that pops out at the right, then Retail & Gifts from the next list to get the page. You can click on any merchant for specifics.

I think I have most (perhaps all) of them listed and commented on on my web site below. Click on Free Frequent Flyer Miles in the left menu, then on Shopping in the top menu.

There is also www.milesmall.com (http://www.milesmall.com) but I have to admit I have had problems getting points from them within the last 6 months.

Don't forget to make sure you check for on-line coupons too before making your purchases.

If you spend a lot at Amazon.com make sure you install the USAIRWAYS bonus bar (see the link in a post above). It's the only way to get FF miles (that I know of) at Amazon.com.

Also check out www.ebates.com. (http://www.ebates.com.) Sometimes they have a merchant listed who you want to use that the FF portals don't. If you can't get FF miles you should at least get cash back. My favorite is smartbargains.com. If you are interested in a referral for ebates send me an e-mail.
