TravelBuzz would be the better forum to ask. clacko Oct 2, 02, 7:52 am there are "visit usa" [or were] types of fares. your travel agent should be able to help. they generaly need to be bought before you travel. i have used these in argentina & australia. YVR Cockroach Oct 2, 02, 9:55 am If you plan to hub around ORD, or you have affiliation to *A (given the Hamburg domicile), the UA/Star Alliance product (http://www.star-alliance.com/isroot/SA/htmen/airpass.htm) is probably best. Other airlines such as Northwest and Alaska have the VUSA product as already mentioned. I am sure DL and US offer similar products but they're not good is ORD is your base. If your loyalty lies with oneworld, you need to look at this (http://www.oneworld.com/products/visit_namerica.cfm). |
