MilesBuzz! - Kuwait Airways Oasis Club : does anyone have info?

I am flying Kuwait Airways for the first time in December for a trip to the Middle East and South East Asia.

On Kuwait Airways' website, they mention an Oasis Club frequent flyer program, but there is a lack of proper information. There is no program guide, you can't tell how many miles are earned or required for upgrades. The only contact info they have provided is a phone number in Kuwait.

Does anyone have a program guide Kuwait Airways, or experience with their frequent flyer program? Are those miles compatible with any other programs for US airlines?

What I'd like to do is sign up for Oasis Club (Kuwait Airways' program), earn the 10,000 miles or so for my trip there (assuming that is what I would earn), and then use those miles to request upgrades on the return trip.

Has anyone used this program and can tell me if it's managed properly? Thanks!

I understand they have a code-share and mileage redemption privileges with Iraqi Air...

I suspect you have a fundamental problem with the Oasis Club - if you read the T&Cs on their website you find:

"Membership requires the applicant to have a residential address within the state of Kuwait. This will be the address to which all correspondence will be directed in due course, membership may be extended to residents of other countries at the discretion of Kuwait Airways."

So currently it doesn't seem to me open to non-residents.

In the 'join us' page, does anyone know what's the PIN code they are asking for and where I can get one? I did email them using their contact us page, but no reply yet.

That PIN code is for your password to check your account so it is free for you to make.
