Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer - SQ Lounge in CMB

SQ lounge Question:

Which lounge does SQ use for its business class passengers in Colombo airport? With the revised schedule, what time does this SQ lounge open in the morning?

SQ uses contract lounges in Colombo. As a first class passenger, I was invited to use the Lotus Lounge.. It is in the gate area. You can only enter the lounge once you have an SQ boarding pass, and you can only get the SQ boarding pass once the check in counter is staffed (even if you are in transit). The counter opens roughly 3 hours before flight time.

You will need a lounge invite too, the BP is not enough.

Note that if you're doing a turn, you should be able to get a BP in SIN, but you'll need to go to the transit counter for the lounge invite.

Also, the C class lounge is "the other one". I think it is Arakilya or something like that. It is across the hall and towards the end of the pier from the Lotus lounge.

I did not know that now BP ex-CMB can be issued in SIN. :o I guess I have not flown to CMB for a long time.
The lounge for C pax is ARALIYA. The buffet area is open, not in the small room like in Lotus Lounge.

Yes, even OLCI too! I couldn't print my BP, but could change seats for the CMB-SIN segment. SIN F check in area had no problem issuing SIN-CMB-SIN... BP's. Note that this was an e-ticket, but not on SQ stock.

I knew my spelling on Araliya wasn't right. Lotus is much easier, so I go there. :p
