Other Middle East and Africa Frequent Flyer Programs - SAA Voyager Card
I'm curious, how much mileage needs to be credited to a SAA Voyager account from travel on a Star Alliance carrier [UA/US] prior to the issuance of an SAA Blue Card [basic] and how long does it take for the card to arrive?
Thanks.

IIRC it's 3000 miles that need to credited before the card is issued. Within SA the card should arrive within two weeks (at least that is what it used to be).

I seem to remember that one needed to have flown 3 sectors before the plastic card would be issued. That was before SA joined *A and we were talking SA flights only. What the situation is with flights on other *A airlines, I don't know.
