MilesBuzz! - Please give forwarding address when moving threads

It would be an huge benefit to me, and probably others, that when a thread is closed and moved you can make the last message where it was moved to? There have been many threads I wanted to keep reading, but searching for it if it doesn't end up in Omni or TravelBuzz becomes impossible.

It would probably help people know where they should be posting stuff, and may actually cut down on the postings. Less then half of them actually say where they were moved to, the rest are just closed.

While this probably isn't a miles topic, I think it's appropriate since it's about the threads in this forum that are being closed.

wait until this one is closed...they have been closing quite a few threads lately. I have the same problem...I go to the "miles buzz" threads first when I am looking for things that have nothing to do with miles!!

Not true.

I'm traveling with someone who is diabetic and he is concerned about not being able to take his insulin/syringe on the plane...
Has anyone had any experience with this? Do the airlines allow syringes in carry-on luggage?

We have a full day of travel - 3 connections - and he can't go all day without insulin.

Any diabetics out there with experience on this subject?

Thanks for the answer, it's there in most of the threads, never would have ever seen it if you didn't point it out. There are a couple that it's not there in, but this makes it better then it was when I didn't know it was there.

I believe this is the difference between a thread which has been moved and one which has been closed.

Oftentimes in the second case the last post (usually from an experienced poster) makes it clear why the moderator did not have to spend his/her time explaining why the thread was closed.

Yes, your observation reflects my thinking. If I lock a thread without moving it, it should have an obvious reason in its content.

cordelli. I am with you. Until I saw it when in the debate about closed threads here, I would never have knows that tiny 4 point font pointed to the new location!

I imagine the tiny font is not a UBB feature that FT techs can change/increase, but if they can it might make the relocations obvious to all?

Not sure if this has anything to do with the version of the software UBB...in other Forums...when a thread is moved, there is a link to the newly moved location. And sometimes Moderator paste the link on their posting as well
