As thijsseh predicted, flysaa.com has a whole new look and feel. A very nice look and feel IMO. ^
Not sure about the functionality yet - will have to test it a bit before I pronounce on that. Looks promising, with features like Manage My Booking. (Though that only seems to allows cancellations and date changes for on-line bookings for now.)
Best feature I've discovered so far: you can check award availability a week at a time! Just choose "flexible dates" and it shows availability for the chosen date and 3 days either side. ^ That's a big improvement. But why couldn't they just show a month's worth like BA does and let you scroll through the months?
There is a "Book by Miles STAR" feature. But I haven't been able to get it to find any award availability.
It's a bit unstable at the moment. Some tabs are misaligned (i.e. you have to press the next tab along to get what you want). And it just closed the whole window down when I went back to "Home"!.

...and right now it doesn't seem to even be running. Or?

...and right now it doesn't seem to even be running. Or?Working fine for me - apart from the occasional glitches. Maybe your bookmark is no longer a valid url? Or maybe not all the country sites are up yet? Or maybe it just fell over at the moment you tried.

"Bookings" don't work for me.
edit: and Voyager doesn't work either.
I hope this is not going to be a e-Natis II.

I managed to get it to show me a Book by Miles STAR award btw London and JNB in I in March 2008 - not many options though and all seemed to be on SAA only - either from LHR or via Frankfurt.
Also tried LHR-SYD in Mar'08 - got various options on SQ,TG and OZ for Y
and options on LH,OZ,NZ & SQ for C - so tool looks promisingish - not as easy as the ANA tool by any means though.
-- Update - if there are connections the ANA tool at least shows the separate legs - some of which may or may not have availibility - but with this tool you just get a message saying no availability.
So for example - trying to book from LHR-LAS no availability in F or C but ok in Y. Looking on ANA - I can see there is plenty on availability in F & C from LHR-ORD -- but not from ORD-LAS (which only has Y because that is all that is offered on that route).
So the general tip I guess would be to search for class availability on the specific legs only and not the trip as a whole - which in turn I guess means those type of awards (with mixed classes) are only bookable from the call centre. Still - good to have the tool at least to be able to check beforehand.
No South American destinations loaded - and only Hong Kong comes up for Asia.

How do you access the "book by miles STAR" feature? Do you have to be a Voyager member?

I suppose you encountered a temporary glitch. There seem to be a few around. Doesn't look like a secound e-Natis, though.
