I am trying to fly direct to Louisville from Atlanta and can't find a fare for under $400. Does anyone have any suggestions. Is there another airport that is nearby? I can't believe how expensive this is.

Telfes May 24, 07, 10:48 pm Lexington (LEX) is about 45 minutes away; Cincinnati (CVG) is about 90 minutes; Indianapolis (IND) is a little over 90 minutes. I've never flown out of Evansville (EVV), but I think it is around 2 hours away. Good luck. mphall May 25, 07, 6:41 am Thank you so much. Telfes May 26, 07, 9:35 pm One other thing you may want to look into: A friend of mine once snagged a *super* cheap RT between SDF & ATL on a charter flight by Vacation Express (we think). The flights were to move people to the ATL hub to then move to typical vacation destinations, but I guess if there were extra seats they would sell just SDF-ATL and/or reverse. It has been a few years so my recollection of the details is fuzzy. I couldn't find anything on the Vacation Express website (just looked briefly) and I'm not sure they even still have charter service in & out of SDF, but I guess it may be worth looking into if you can't find anything convenient into one of the other area airports. Again, good luck. FWIW, I have found *much* cheaper flights to ATL out of IND a number of times |
