"2007 REQUAL GOLD BONUS POINTS OFFER " showed up in my friend's HHonors account activity. It earns him 1000 miles for each stay since last month. Does anyone know what it is and if there is a way to sign up? Thanks!

Sounds like your friend re-qualified for gold level and it perhaps kicked in automatically? I haven't even reached that yet, so who knows...

I got it on my last stay as well...

and I am not gold, just silver.

Oooh! I think I qualify for this. I looked at my new card and info that came with it, and found this in it. I guess I need another stay before the end of July. Thanks for the other discussion link, that was handy too! ^

I'm getting 5k points each time. So far, three times.

Mine is 5000 for every 2 stays. Clearly YMMV.

I only found out about it when I called and tried to get the 5/10/15 promo. The gold requal is an OK promotion - my travel is such that it should get me 40K pts, but I would have rather had 5/10/15. I'm also baffled this promo was added to my account and I wasn't aware of it. Isn't the idea of promos to goose customers into changing their travel habits? Isn't it hard to do if I don't know about the promo?

I'm at 20k bonus points so far. The promo period is May 1 - July 31. 5k for every 2 stays.

BTW, I didn't find any info on the requal offer in the above link. I have my pages set up differently, so only 33 pages total. Finally had to dig into the recyclables to find the T&Cs.

Here's something - I earned the 4th "REQUAL GOLD" bonus about two weeks after hitting Diamond. I'm not complaining, but it doesn't make sense. YMMV.
