Air New Zealand Air Points - best seats in C SYD/WLG on NZ a320??View Full Version : best seats in C SYD/WLG on NZ a320?? eireman May 17, 07, 4:08 pm Any advice would be appreciated. Nothing on seat guru for this aircraft type Thanks ntddevsys May 17, 07, 4:58 pm There all about the same really - pick Window or Aisle as to your preference. My impression was that Row 2 has more legroom as there is no bulkhead - plus you can store stuff in the seatback in front of you, unlike those useless things on the wall. However someone can recline a bit into your space. Being a Row 1 type myself (for that reason) I have never sat in Row 2 so am not sure if the recline is limited as compared to Row 1 - maybe someone can confirm. But I doubt it would be noticeable. I always go for row 2 - I find the leg room restricted in row 1, but I am 6ft1in in the old currency mad_atta May 17, 07, 11:37 pm I agree with WellingtonFF that the legroom (or to be more precise, the footroom) in row 1 is not very generous, so for that reason I go for row 2 whenever possible. I'm also similarly lanky so legroom is a priority for me. Re the recline, last time I was in J on a 320 (a few weeks ago) I was wondering whether the recline on the row 1 seats was better - certainly the recline in row 2 is nothing special. Then again, those seats aren't much cop for sleeping in anyway, so I'd rather go with the superior legroom. FWIW, food service often seems to start in row 2... Kiwi Flyer May 18, 07, 12:33 am Having sat in every seat position in A320 business, row 1 more recline, row 2 more legroom & seat pocket is closer. There is no major difference. Meal & drink service seems to start from whatever row - sometimes 1 & sometimes 2. LAX21 May 25, 07, 12:19 am so 1B does not have extra legroom like most other carriers on A32x ? Kiwi Flyer May 25, 07, 12:25 am Dont think so. It is bulkhead, with no cutout that I recall. WellingtonFF May 25, 07, 7:27 pm Dont think so. It is bulkhead, with no cutout that I recall. You are correct Kiwi Flyer - no cut out |
