Asiana Club - Is due credit given for Expedia special fares on Asiana?
BA or bust

I am contemplating using Asiana for a long haul trip. Expedia has a 'special fare' which is much better than that of my corporate travel agent.
Can anyone tell me whether I am in danger of getting some funny fare that is NOT either C, D or J and therefore not getting mileage and status credit?
Thanks.

On Expedia after selecting the flights, continue to the "details and purchase options" page, then scroll down and select the "Read an overview of all the rules and restrictions applicable to this fare." link. This will pull up some info including the "Fare Basis Code: HHX6M" for which the first letter is the fare code, in this example "H".
Now you can decide if the this is OK or not.
This works for Orbitz and Travelocity as well. Although I think Orbitz requires you to put in the traveler name, etc. first before showing the rules and restrictions.

Sounds like you are in Business Class. All business class fares earn miles. The only thing is Z fares only earn 100% miles, not 125%.
