As per the subject - are there any Hilton hotels that do apartments, where we still earn points?
Looking maybe for somewhere in Europe, but will consider any options.
Many thanks.

What do you mean "do apartments". do what?
Are you looking for a brand similar to Homewood Suites or are you looking for a "time share" like Grand vacations?

sorry - looking for somewhere where we can self-cater to a degree rather than having to depend upon often dodgy cooking from expensive Hilton restaurants.
Ideally somewhere warm with a balcony.
Does this exist within the Hilton family?

You're being vague. Help us, help you!
Are you trying to plan an event?
Have you look at and are you familiar with the offeringas at the Hilton Family brand of hotels?
Is there a hotel that you've stayed in - that is not a hilton - that we can compare too? This might provide us the opportunity to point you in the right direction.

I think what the OP may be referring to is something like the Hilton Residences in Brussels. When I walked past, it looked more like a regular apartment building rather than a hotel.

Hilton Residences in Brussels.
FWIW, it's closing permanently as of the end of this month.

sorry for being vague - we are looking for a week away, somewhere warm that we can relax. However we are getting a bit fed up of some of the Hilton hotels, and thought we might look for a solution where we are in a hotel, but can also prepare simple meals in a kitchenette type situation.
We stayed in such a place in Perth (not hilton) - it wasn't cheap, but was a nice mix.
Thanks.

Have you looked at Homewood Suites or Hilton Grand vacations properties?

Brussels.
The Hilton Brussels Residence. Excellent. Superb.
I had:
- a hallway
- a well-seperated kitchen area, with all cooking equipment
- dining area
- more than ample living area, two large sofas, armchairs
- 'office' space, not well-placed but well equipped, with ASDL (broadband), fax
- separate WC
- well-fitted bathroom
- large bedroom, walk-in cupboard
- excellent view over the very pleasant and quiet Amborix Parc
- shops (including groceries) next door
Because it is a residence, the reception is not (wo-)manned overnight, and even less at weekends. The bar is self-service and honour-basis. Not a problem in Europe. Only breakfast is served. Many restos in the neighbourhood. And the call-in ("take-away") couscous is truly superb and amazing value.
All this within 3 minutes walk of the Schuman roundabout for metro, buses and the ubiquitous EU HQ.
All excellent value. And normal HH points and HH-VIP Upgrades.
I was most pleasantly surprised, but now that I've tipped you off, you won't be! Enjoy it. I am tipping the manager off about this message. Just to be honourable.

See my post above -- all that should be in past tense. This property is closing permanently at the end of May. :(
