Hertz - New addition to Prestige in Canada

Hertz has recently added the BMW 3-series sedan to Canada's decidedly limited Prestige collection; has anyone rented one yet? I have one res'd for next weekend, and I'm hoping it's not the feeble 323i.

they don't make that 323i anymore, it will be 328i on the lot for you.

I dunno; BMW Canada's website still shows the 323i in their model selector in addition to the 328i/xi and 335i/xi. I'm secretly hoping Hertz offers the 335i, but I'm not holding my breath. Even the 328i is kinda yawn-inducing.

Not a prestige vehicle (maybe not yet) but in canada, I would rather drive the audi a4 over the bmw 328i or the mercedes c320. I find it has better sound system and amazing handling with the quattro. Not that crazy about the mercedes nor the bmw styling on those last 2 vehicles.

And it will be the 328i on the lot for you; it's the only trim I've seen on the Hertz collection.

Me, too. I'm surprisingly happy with the A4 sedan they have in LAX. Even though it's only the 2.0T trim, the CVT transmission offers very nice performance. As long as I can get the A4 at LAX for $272 a week (including everything), I'll happily rent it.

Next week, I'll try the A4 convertible, which seems so coem with the 3.2l engine at LAX.

I have ample opportunity to rent BMWs from Sixt in Germany, so I don't really miss them here in the U.S.
