View Full Version : Does Jetstar fly to India ?

I am almost certain that Jetstar used to fly from SIN ( and perhaps also BKK ) to Bangalore.

But when I go to the Jetstar website to shop for these flights it does not list any flights to India.

Did I imagine this, or has it been dropped by Jetstar with no mention made on the website.

If this has already been discussed please post a link to the thread. I could not find any mention of this using "search".

Are there any other LCC's ( besides Air India Express ) that fly from SE Asia (BKK. SIN, KUL, etc. ) to India ?

Thanks in advance.

I heard they stopped. However, I am in the US and don't track that route too closely.

Jetstar used to fly from SIN to both Bangalore and Calcutta (Kolkata), but both services have been terminated. AFAIK the only SE Asia-India LCC flight right now is BKK-Bangalore on Nok Air (http://www.nokair.com/), a TG subsidiary. (Click on the "International" tab on their website to find it.)

Thank you for your replies to my question.

And thank you jpatokal for the Nok Air suggestion. I had looked at their website previously, but never noticed the "International" tab, so I did not realize they flew outside of Thailand.

The BKK to BLR flight fits perfectly with my travel plans. Does anyone have any recent experiences flying on Nok Air, or other words of wisdom for someone planning a flight with them ?

Didn't see OP's exclusion of Air India Express.
