Miles & More (Lufthansa, Austrian, Swiss, and other partners) - LH8189 Chicago-Shannon

Does anyone know why flight LH8189 is coming from Chicago is landing in Shannon. I've seen this flight on Saturdays only. I can see it's landing at around 19.30 but I cannot see the departure to Frankfurt. Is that a Lufthansa flight? Anybody knows?

It´s a freighter flight.
That´s also why only once per week.

I guess it is a B747-200F that continues on a different flight number. Maybe to CGN instead of FRA.

Flight no is similar to what an LH checkin agent at SFO told me they had a few months ago for a flight SFO-TXL nonstop. charter for the berlin philharmonic.

I actually saw it the teletext in the airport arrivals for Shannon Airport.

It might be similar but still a cargo flight.
I suppose the SFO flight was a 9000 No like all LH-charter flights.

I will try to find out where the flight´s going after SNN. Have you tried flight tracker?

LH8XXX is opertaed by LH Cargo.

LH8189 that has a stop at SNN (every saturday) lands in FRA at 2355
