I've been following the departure of AS flight 17 from Miami to Seattle as we'll be taking it soon.

On the Alaska Air website, they always state that the flight departs from gate E25, however I always see the aircraft at gate F10 and this is the gate that also appears on the information screen at the Miami International airport website.

Strange, huh?

That used to be the old gate, F10 is the new one now and it has been for a few months now. That is pretty strange they haven't updated their web site though hah. I do know during printout of boaring pass you get the right gate.

ps: little hint, don't worry much about sec lines on the way down and back up, I've never seen it more than 5-10minutes hold up, but then again don't hate me if something werid happens haha :)

ps2: if you're looking for an upgrade on the return, even if you're gold make sure you're on a H or higher fare cause the 72hr upgrade is pretty much never available - it's one long a$$ flight so you get lots of paying Fs on it
