Hilton HHonors - Gold VIP online, but received a blue card

I got my Gold VIP with Citi Chairman. I was no longer a Citi Chairman cardholder; therefore, I got a letter explaining the downgrade and received the new blue HHonors card starting from May 1.

However, on the HHonors website, I am still a Gold VIP member. Does that mean they forgot to downgrade me? I will stay ten nights at Hilton for the comming summer. Can I get upgraded as a Gold member?

You could call in and ask, which might involve some sort of investigation... Which might bring the resolution of your online status changing from Gold to Blue.
I would just ask for an upgrade in the comments section and see if you get it on your next stay. As well check your points balance and see if you get the Gold bonus for your stay.

Or you could just call and ask for a Gold challenge (stay X times in next Y days) and your next stay you will be on your way back to Gold (for sure).

Happened to me too. I do not even bother calling as it is more important that the right level is shown on your account. These days they only go by what is electronically registered. A piece of plastic does not mean anything.

Don't call - but I suspect the change on your hhonors acct will happen in a few days. I lost Gold Status in April - took 10 days into May before it was reflected on my acct. Hope this DOESN'T happen to you.

In April husband received a Silver card while he should have received a Gold one...
When checking the website, everything was fine, Gold status was indicated, correct number of points, etc. but no replacement card came in the mail.

Two months later he finally wrote an e-mail to HHonors.
A very quick mail of apology came up. New card will be arrive "soon" (four to six weeks)...
