Business as usual

Anyone have any bright ideas on bringing a digital Lumix back to life after it spent several nights camping in the Sahara?
It crunches now while focusing, and its digital innards are working sketchily as well. Ouch.
Besides taking it apart and blowing all the sand out of it? Nope.

i'd second this suggestion. and use a can of compressed air.

Just make sure you keep the can of air level or aimed upwards - if you tip the can on its side and spray, you'll get liquid out, and the residues can be bad for certain parts of the camera.

I can just see using canned air. Had a video camera issue also. Fell on the beach. Just didnt quite work after that.
