Miles & More (Lufthansa, Austrian, Swiss, and other partners) - Minimum Miles per Sector

Question:
Has there been any change in the minimum miles that one gets when using the Star partners.
As examples for flights taken lately - Dec 03:
SK ARN(STO) - Kiruna - ARN - each way 580 actual miles - I have received the 580 miles + SEN 25 % booked in H.
SQ ZRH - MAN - ZRH each way 627 miles - I have received 1881 miles + SEN 25 % booked in F.
I thought min miles would have been 1000 in H and 3000 in F + SEN 25 % respectively.
Has there been a change recently that I have missed in terms of mileage policy - meaning has LH taken away the min sectors ?
Cheers
Thomas

I scratched my head in wonder too recently:
I have flown CPH-ARN/BMA(STO) atleast 12 times last year as part of various MUC-STO tickets and on my last time DEC 20 I suddenly received 1000 miles plus bonus instead of the usual measly 500+bonus intra scandinavian miles.
Either the link M&M to SAS has changed or someone was on christmas holiday...

I think the calculation for minimum miles is as follows: If (miles actually flown x class factor) is less than 1.000 (or 2.000 in J) you will be credited at least 1.000 (or 2.000 in J) if you flew LH/EW OS. There is to my knowledge nowhere a statement that there would be 3.000 minimum miles in F nor that there are any minimum miles when flying with other *A partners. So it seems to me correct...

1000 minimum miles is not valid for all Star alliance partners.
Minimum miles for Singapore Airlines are 500 status miles in Y (some classes in Y on SQ don't earn miles at all) for flights under 500 miles since a long time. That means 1000 status miles in C and 1500 status miles in F. Flights with more than 500 miles earn the actual mileage.

Have not flown in the US on UA since Oct 03, but at least then it was 3000 miles minimum if flying F irrespectable of distance - as long as below 1000 actual flight miles.
Called SEN hotline and LH M&M who both told me it should be 3000 minimum - and can not explain why it does not show up as such.
It is not a major deal - as I needed the two segments to complete my qualification for SQ PPS, but still it would be a disturbing trend if they were to cut the points - especially in the US, where often the distance can be less than 1000 actual miles.

If flying UA you still earn a minimum of 3000 miles in F. SQ credits a minimum of 500 in Y, 1000 in C and 1500 in F.
BTW Once I had to credit an airrail segment in C to my AC account and earned just 625 miles...THAT hurts!
Old but most infos should still be up-to-date: Minimum Miles on *A carriers (http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/Forum32/HTML/001887.html). I will update it shortly.

Hi Curt,
had missed your thread - I went by what I was told by the two LH phone references - I have now checked the LH website - and your listing is correct for SQ whereas UA/US is twice the minimum amount - what is the logic behind that. Is it because the service / seating level is better with SQ than UA/US that LH wants to compensate the poor travellers on UA/US http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/wink.gif especially considering that US is new on the block.
Cheers
