Other Middle East and Africa Frequent Flyer Programs - Future of Egypt Air

I wonder what's the future for the flag carrier of Egypt. At one point in recent history it was one of the few profitable airlines in Africa and had the largest network in Africa and the Middle East. But nowadays, its losing ground to all other airlines and seems to be doing nothing by this. Seems to me that Egypt needs a new airline, or a $1.1 billion makeover for Egypt Air. What do y'all think?
