The Caribbean - Aruba Recommendations Using Amex Points

Planning trip for 3/08 for 4 nights (two young kids so beach access and pools a must) and would like to use the boatload of Amex points I've amassed. Any recommendations? Thx.

Assuming that you're not a 'high rise' fan, ie Marriott's or one of the others, my wife and I stayed at the Bucutti Beach...(one of the low rise places, away from the maddening crowd.)
I see that it's been refurbished since we were there last year. I think that the kids would love it, 'specially the pirate ship on the beach where you can take breakfast etc. We're going to go back as it was so relaxing, and the beach is great...and getting the 'bus' down town can be quite an experience !...dollar each way....hold on tight.

If Jet Blue services an airport near you we have found that to be a good use of AmEx points. Airfare to Aruba is often quite expensive.
