You know, it can happen once, maybe twice, but THREE TIMES? On the last three SAA Biz flights (JNB-IAD, JNB-FRA, HKG-JNB) Biz class was filled with civil servants from JNB. They proceeded to get pretty drunk, and I had booze spilled all as they stumbled up and down the aisles. FA's thought this was funny. I got to my destination, smelling like a distillary. Anyone else encountered this. I, of course wrote SAA customer service, but that's an oxymoron, and now response.

They were actually permitted to board the plane? This is probably a huge violation of airtravel rules- when you're thousands of feet up in the air with intoxicated people, there's bound to be a problem.

So you told us in this post (http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/showpost.php?p=7541962&postcount=3)on 7 April. Any particular reason why you suddenly feel the need to get worked up again?
Oh and do tell how you identify the culprits as civil servants. (You seem to have a real eye for them: I note in another thread you accuse of hogging the exit row seats). With the rare exception of a cabinet minister whose face is familiar, I would be hard pressed to spot a civil servant in a crowd. (Of course in the bad old days when they used to wear safari suits and combs in their socks it was easier. ;))
