I plan to take RJ BKK-AMM. It was originally flied by A340 now it seemed replaced by A310.
Any chance it can be replaced back to A340?
How bad was it in A310?
worth it or not?

I've flown the 310 from Amman to Jeddah a number of times as well as the 340 from Chicago and New York to Amman. I can tell you that the 310 is nothing like the 340 in terms of roominess. I would guestimate the seat pitch is around 50" on the 310 versus 83" on the 340, no individual video screens on the 310, etc. The 310 seems to me like a medium haul aircraft in comfort (it isn't that bad) but it isn't really any comparison to the A340 for long haul travel in C class. As far as whether it is worth it or not, I'd say 'yes', however. Flying anything more than 3 hours in economy is torture for me.
