InterContinental Hotels: Priority Club & Inter-Continental Ambassador - Real basic question: names on reservation

I arranged a family holiday to France this summer, which will need two rooms per night. Of course, I would like to get the stay credits/points, but changes at work probably mean that I won't be able to go. So, if I am booking rooms at HI properties, can I use my name, or would that cause a problem, as I am (probably) not going?

Certainly. Of course, it was too bad that something unexpected came up at the last moment and you couldn't join your group as planned. Luckily, you had someone else's name on the reservation also. Good thinking! ;)
