Miles & More (Lufthansa, Austrian, Swiss, and other partners) - Best seats from JFK to MUC in coach?

in January 2004, we (my wife, our child and myself) are flying to MUC in coach. Can anybody share their experience with me what are the best seats in A340-600 on this route?
So far, we are booked in row 21 (second row in coach).

Congratulations! You get to fly on LH's new A340-600! How lucky you are. I'm flying LH in Jan from MUC-LAX and I am on an A340-300...in "C" class however. Since they have not started flying these planes yet, I think you'll have somewhat of a difficult time finding a good review. Since most airline configs differ, it probably wouldn't help much if someone gave you an idea say from Virgin Atlantic who flies the A340-600 too. Are you sure that you will be flying on a 340-600? Just browsing through different dates, LH411 JFK-MUC is still served by a 340-300 in January '04.

Additionally, row 21 is the second row in coach on the 340-300... http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif

All posters are right, we are flying A340-300.
and we are flying coach http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif in the row 21.
It looks like not a bad place as far as the coach is concerned.

Are you in the middle section ? the side sections only have two seats. I flew in 20K
BOS-MUC and it was a bulkhead with decent room but carry-on items have to go overhead.
Row 21 is normal coach seat nothing special but no restricted seat recline either.
