I have just spent a wonderful couple of hours in this lounge, and would highly recommend it if you get the chance. Spacious, airy and with a great view of the apron. Food is decent too, and free and working wireless access.

Yes, it certainly has a great view.
Air conditioning could do with an upgrade though...

It's one of my favourite *A/*G lounges in the world!!
Great place to kill some time inside. Great view, great food and drinks and great staff, i.e. it's pretty great!

i agree with everything but the staff. i was there plenty of times and almost only had bad experiences with the staff at the door... too bad, its a really good lounge otherwise...

For UA flyers the best thing is you can peek out the door and see what's happening at the UA gate, whether it's really time for "boarding" or not.
Whereas the RCC ejects everyone 1 hour ahead of scheduled departure "to speed up security checking."

I was at the ANZ Sydney lounge earlier this month (flying AC) but they didn't have wireless internet and two of the computers were off line? Also, the food was fairly skimpy? Different lounge?

If their WiFi is off line you can always jack the firstclass lounge next door :p

No, this is the same lounge. The computers are indeed "basic" and don't compare to the QF lounges in Syndey. Food is simple but okay. The magzine selection can be anything from great to bad.
However, they have space, nice design, good showers, friendly staff. Some people really like this lounge even so it is nothing special. For some reason it is a nice place to relax and spend time.

 QF F lounge in SYD has 4 computers. NZ has that many in the main part of the lounge, plus a whole separate business centre with more computers. I have never had problems getting a free computer in NZ lounge but cannot say the same for QF lounge.

Mhh, we seem to have different experiences then. Every time I am there half the computers are not working and the other half is taken by other people. I never had an issue finding a working computer (with printer) at the QF F or C lounges. But as I said, I enjoy the NZ lounge for its relaxed atmosphere.

Was told by the attendant that there was no wi-fi......not that it was down, but the lounge didn't have it....consequently didn't boot up my laptop but probably should have.............grrrrr........

I will move this to NZ forum as there seem to be some specific questions about the lounge.
