Other Credit Card Programs - Q on Sony statement credit

I was under the impression that the Sony card gave a 100 credit only if the purchase was with Sony, but I looked at the T&C's again and the wording seems to indicate that any purchase will do. Am I right? Sorry for this silly Q.

My wife applied for one this February and didn't spend on a Sony product, but got the 100 statement credit nevertheless. You're right, any purchase will do.
