The 'perkology' program!! Thanks for bringing that up. The fine print says "Existing and previous WorldPerks Visa Business Card Accounts do not qualify for Enrollment Bonus Miles for a similar account type."
The offer I got says that you couldn't have had a card w/in the last 12 months. Might make a difference to some.
I'm going to apply for both and see what shakes out.

To apply for the WorldPerks Visa Perkology offer, you must click here or call (800) 369-4086 ext. 34904.
When the agent answered she said I could not apply for the Business card using the ext. # 34904 listed above. Instead of arguing I just applied for the Signature card. She said the annual fee would be waived since I used the ext. # 34904 & I'd get 25K miles . Yes, I know I may not get the miles because it says "existing and previous accounts do not qualify...". Never hurts to try. UA's website said the same thing too.

Darn it all. I didn't have as good luck. I called 800-796-4650 ext 34904. All the cards had varying fees, none waived the first year for both business and consumer.
She said, "for that extension" there are no waived fees....

I cancelled my old NW signature card just over 6 months ago. Should I not even bother to try for this deal? I got my 20K bonus for my old card in December 2005 if that matters.
I cancelled a NW biz Visa in July 06 (rcv'd 15K bonus July 05) ... I assume the same churn restrictions apply to both?
I know I've received multiple bonuses (bonii?) from a NW Visa card, I just can't remember reading what the required waiting period is before I can apply for another.
any assistance would be appreciated.

I have been told that the wait period is 3 years before you can churn. 3 years worked for me for the personal card.
Could be that the count is separate for the personal and business cards. The only way to find out is to try it after 3 years.

Not so with me. I just received a new NW WP Visa signature card yesterday. I also have one that I got in June, 2006. Shows as 20K bonus and 5K perkology bonus.
Oddly, although I only got the card a few days ago and used it for the first time around three days ago, the bonus miles are shown as posting ten days ago, apparently one day after I applied. Yet the terms of the offer are bonus miles for first use.
Anyhow, now 25K miles ahead, I am happy. :D

Watch your statements carefully. After being told that I had received a fee-free for the first year card, US Bank tried to charge me the annual fee. Twice. (called in, got it reversed once, then was charged again next month)When I called to complain, I had to fight with the CSR, as they said, "There are no cards offered fee-free."

Just called 1800-360-2900 ext 32106 and applied for a business card (since I got a personal card recently). The best offer the nice lady on the phone had was 20K and annual fee waived for first year ($75). Initial offer for biz card was 15K and no annual fee for first year, but she found a better offer when I asked. There was also a 15K bonus offer for first year and 10K add'tl bonus after 15 months.
Lady assured me that I could get another personal card if I wanted, but I would not get any bonus miles. Bummer!
Still 20K bonus and and no annual fee--not too shabby. :)
