LH is back to Rio de Janeiro. Starting Dec. 8, 2003, the daily FRA-GRU flight will get a tag-on to GIG. Times are as follows:

LH 502
FRA-GRU 2240-0745+1
GRU-GIG 0845-0950

LH 503
GIG-GRU 1245-1400
GRU-FRA 1515-0530+1

Flights will be operated by B744.

Just tried to book 2 F-awards to GIG for Christmas/New Year Holiday, but the Infoflyway, says that GIG is not a valid destination. I suppose it is just not loaded yet....

Tried OSL-FRA-GRU and NO problem with 2 F-seats on exactly the 2 days I wanted (22Dec-04Jan).

I assume they will not get selling rights on GRU-GIG?

i always wonder how those tag-on flights make commecercial sense. for those "shuttle" flights you need a complete new crew, catering etc just to fly somewhere with an near-empty 744 ...

Flight time FRA-EZE (nonstop) is 14:10. Maybe it is still within duty time limits? The plane would be sitting idle at GRU, anyway.
