Well, it doesn't compare to my SQ F experience. I didn't write that menu down but as usual, it was amazing. I mean you start with an appetizer, then soup, then salad, then main course, then cheese and fruit and then dessert... You get stuffed!!! The nice thing about my flight on SQ from DXB to SIN the next day was that I was the only person in F and they took good care of me. On the way back, flight was full and F was a bit hectic for the FAs but still a very wonderful experience.

To be honest with you, the only thing I REALLY enjoyed eating on that EK flight was the dessert on the way back to Beirut.

SQ has set the bar high IMHO...

CJ eloquently says what I'm feeling, too, so put on the cabaret! ^ :)
BEYFlyer may yet enjoy a better GF service, if it can improve its focus in the region (I will miss GF too :()

Speaking of Arabian food....what should I absolutely try should I ever make it to BEY? As BEYFlyer knows, I am looking forward to visit his country within this year.

There are so many things to try really; depends on whether it's breakfast, brunch, lunch or dinner!!! :) Then again, you can almost combine all those times into one meal if you want :D . The nice thing about Lebanese meals (and indeed meals in several countries of this region) is the mezze or basically a little taste of a lot of things. No meal is complete without it (salads, cheese, spreads, etc)...

You just make your way over here and let me take care of the "food" part :D ...
