Dear OZ fliers,

I'm wondering about taking NH from BKK-NRT on the overnight flight or whether I should connect via ICN to try OZ's new product. Me Question is, will it be on the BKK-ICN route? I'm checking NH now and their seats are teh old style club ana seats...not too much fun for a really tall guy who likes to sleep.

Any feedback would be of great help.

OZ randomly sends new product to BKK. If 777, there's like 25% chance to get new C class product. If 333, 100% sure. The second one, OZ 743/744 which goes 4/w, is mostly 333. Check which aircraft goes on your date, and decide. Asiana usually confirm final schedule a month ago. Now you can check until May 31.

Same with NRT route.

By the way, OZ does not have 743, only 744 (combi or pax), but doesn't make the difference anyway since their 744s are only with older seats. There is a rumor that OZ will be upgrading their 744s with new seats soon.

I'm sorry, it was misleading. OZ 743/744 means flight number. OZ 741/742 is daily flight and 743/744 is second one, only 4 weeklies.

Last fall, the C tickets on the OZ 744 (plane, not flight #) booked into the F cabin until it was full. Not sure if this is still going on. They are old F, but still quite nice - fully flat, not slanted. They beat the heck out of those crappy old C seats on their 744. Old IFE, though, so be warned if that is important to you.
