American Express Membership Rewards - UK Platinum & Centurion Call Waiting Times

Today I tried to call Plat CS at around 9.30am, was on hold for 30 minutes and gave up because I was walking into a meeting. After, at around 11:00 I tried again and nothing for 15 minutes.

I thought I would try Cent CS (which doesn't seem to force you to enter your card number before speaking to someone....I thought it would be more appropriate here but nevermind), and was on hold for 25 minutes and gave up once again. Finally got through to Plat CS at around 3pm after on hold for 8 minutes.

Did anyone else experience anything, or was I just very unlucky today and caught them at bad times?

did you try the 0845 number or the uk number?

I always used the uk one and would get through straight away, figured because they thought the only people calling that one were abroad so it wouldnt make them wait.

I tried the UK number and the 0845 number. The UK number just goes straight to "busy".

I call the UK number usually because this comes out of my free minutes on my mobile :p
