Hi folks - looking for some "expert" Hertz advice.
I am going into RDU tomorrow for 3-days, with plans of returning my Hertz rental on 4/15, meeting a colleague at the airport, and then picking up a car at Dollar for a 10 day trip with a drop-off at ATL. For the ten days, Dollar has us paying approx. 350 dollars....pretty good one-way deal.
Unfortunately, Dollar has given my colleague multiple hassles over the course of his last few trips, to the point he would rather NOT rent with them again.
Question - if I call Hertz at RDU, do you think I may have a chance of having them not only extending my res to accomodate the entire trip (4/15 thru 26), but matching the price I was given by Dollar for the remaining days? Hertz is certainly pricier than Dollar, but I've never had a challenge with Hertz.
Any suggestions/help would be appreciated!:)
