I found that Israir flies from BUD to TLV, but when I went to their website I could not get flights. Any suggestions on how I could stitch a low fare from OTP to AMM/TLV? The regular flights cost $450 on El Al or Tarom.
Thanks.

Israir are flying charters, not LCC type flights. I don't believe they sell tickets from BUD to TLV. In general, there isn't much LCC activity at TLV, especially not from that side of the world.

BUD or BUH?
Bucharest (OP's subject) would be BBU or OTP (and BUH covering both these airports). So I guess the OP is looking for flights from BUH to TLV
As far as I know, the only kind of LCC serving TLV is tuifly.com. Hence, a possible LCC connection could be BBU - (Germanwings or WIZZAIR) - CGN/CGN - (TUIfly.com) - TLV
The flight times for germanwings/Tuifly.com are perfect: No nighstop in CGN required an still some hours for potential delays.
If you book well in advance, this connection is possible for less than 190€ = less than US$260, roundtrip including all taxes

Thanks for the info. I am flying out of BUH, but was scanning the nearby airports (BUD) to see if there are any LCC activity to TLV.
I checked out TUIfly.com, my dates dont match with their schedule. I am falling between their winter and summer schedules. Too bad, got to get back to the regular carriers.
