American Express Membership Rewards - SPG & miles transferring to AA

Hi all,
We have an AX *wood credit card. I'm the primary card holder and my husband is the secondary card holder. We both have AA frequent mileage programs. Can I transfer the points that we've earned from the AX *wood credit card to my husband's AA program? If so, how do we go about doing it?

Thanks for your fast response. I had tried to research this topic before I posted the question but I was not sucessful in getting the answer :confused: . I know that with AX MR points, I can do that (i.e. transferring my MR points to someone else's frequent program). I could not find the info regarding AX *wood points. Could you please kindly give me the link. TIA;)

amex has nothing to do with starpoints.

spg allows anyone with the same home address to transfer points between their accounts.

svo owners can transfer to anyone's account.

I think it would, especially if the other threads are old. In situations like this, I usually just go ahead and give the answer if I know it.

This could be accomplished by providing a basic answer to the question, plus links to a few threads for detail.

Thank everyone who took the time to respond. By reading the links, I think that in order for me to transfer my *wood points that I have earned from using my AX *wood credit card to my husband's AA frequent miles program, we need to do the folowing:
1) Set up a SPG account for my husband.
2) Generate some transaction so that my husband's SPG account becomes active
3) Transfer points from my SPG account to my husband's SPG account
4) Transfer my husband's *wood points to his AA frequent miles program.

Am I correct?
Just in case you're wondering why I did not transfer my *wood points to my AA frequent miles program. My husband has earned more AA miles than me and by having the AA miles posted to his account, we are able to book the airline ticket sooner:p
