I have an F ticket on which I ticketed an OZ F flight ICN-NRT.
For the original dates there was no F on OZ operated flight so I had it booked on the UA operated flight. Now I am changing to another date on which there is OZ102 on 74E with F service.

Is there good food on this flight? Any champagne? Any advice?

I've done short-haul First from ICN-PEK, and found the service outstanding!!! ^

I was also the only passenger in the nose of the 747! Just me and the empty F cabin! Food great, service wonderful. I had a lot of champagne.... don't recall landing.... :D

I guess if they had champagne on ICN-PEK they should have it on ICN-NRT. I have taken KE on that route and they specifically excludes flight between Seoul and Japan and Seoul and China from having champagne.... I was also the only passenger in F on that flight. Strange since UA is always almost full on that route.

We flew OZ from ICN to PEK a couple of days ago, and the service was amazing. Not only were we escorted to the door of the aircraft on our departure from ICN, but we were met at the end of the jetway in PEK and taken through customs. The OZ attendant even got us through the Chinese Nationals line for immigration, skipping the crowded line for foreigners. We were out of the airport in minutes. As far as food is concerned, on light that lasted 1:30, we were served appetizer, soup, main (which was lobster), and desert. The food on OZ on this short flight was far better than anything I've had in first class on a flight in the US.

Amazing amazing! I didn't know that OZ offers such fast-immigration service. I hope I can enjoy OZ F class someday.

How come they never have any kind of escort service in the US ? It would be good if they have in ORD, the time for OZ arrive on ORD is usually when a bunch of european carriers arrive at the same time, it always take more than an hour to clear immigration.

I'm booked on OZ101 from NRT-ICN. I am in business class, and it doesn't look like there is an F cabin?

(I've also never flown OZ)

Most countries seem to have "issues" with this service. Leaving ORD, I will often get escorted through the airport employee only line.
However, at customs, the only time I ever get through any quicker in North America is if the flight is imminent (irks me as people who show up late are rewarded by not having to wait).
