Thanks for the nice welcoming words and of course a big thank you to ralfkrippner for mentoring me so far. I would like to use this opportunity to introduce myself to the users who don´t know me yet or whom I have not in person so far.

My name is Guido, I am 31 years old and live in Berlin/Germany. I am self-employed, working as a Business Development Manager as well as a consultant for Corporate Identity and Corporate Design.

My travel is mainly LH for shorthaul and longhaul to the US as well as QR for longhaul to Asia. Because of my many flights with QR lately, I became more and more interested in the "Other Midle East and Africa Frequent Flyer Programs" forum and offered to moderate this forum.

Through this, I hope to be able to give back a little back of what I have received from the comunity in the past years.

I would like to invite all of you to post your expectations and ideas for improving this particular forum and look forward to establish an even better community in the future.

Free minutes? What free minutes are you talking about?? :)
The only free minutes that I have come from my phone company, called "T-Mobile Flat" :D

But seriously: This is such a great community that I feel honored in volounteering as a mod and do not see that as a waste of time at all. I met great people around the globe and made some serious friends out there....so this will be my way of giving back whatI have received.

Welcome, though I am not that much at this "part of Flyertalk", but since QR offered some good fares, I am visiting this part from time to time.

Well done berlinflyer. I wish you all the success for your new role. Too bad that our meeting in SIN didn't clear. But I guess we catch up at the ZRH Do in September.

And yes I agree that QR is a great airline. As you know I had the pleasure to expererience their product last year on HKG-DOH-MUC. I was so pleased, that I booked my mother and sister on GVA-DOH-SIN return. They want to visit their lovely son (and brother) in SIN ;)

Good luck, and please never suspend me :D
