American Express Membership Rewards - Business card for personal expenses

I am the part owner in a small business, but am considering making an Amex business card my primary spending card for personal and business expenses (there will be more personal than business). Is this something that Amex will really care about? If so, would there be any penalty?

I don't think they really care. I have a personal AmEx platinum that I use way more for business than personal. Since I charge a lot, I think they love it.

As a fellow small business owner I would advise against commingling the charges. In particular if you're a partner and not a Sole Proprietor. It just makes the accounting much easier at the end of the year.

Thank you all for the advice and for the link. Most (>95%) of the spending would be for personal since the business is mostly cash based (yes its legal:p).

I am considering the SimplyCash rebate card mainly for the cash back on gas and the Open savings program. I really like the idea of a cash rebate deposited on a monthly basis rather than redeeming points for $25 checks or something like that. If anyone can think of a personal card that gives the rebate back every month that would be great:p but I don't think they are out there.

American Express One (personal) gives you cash rebate at the end of the month but it is only 1%. :(
