I'm confused about the term "platinum". Is DL Platinum the same as regular AE Platinum card? And can DL Platinum card use FHR?

No, they are not the same card and you get no FHR privileges with the DL Platinum, only the AMEX Platinum. The latter also has a $475 annual fee although there are ways to reduce that fee somewhat. You can also get the AMEX Platinum Business card for $400 and I believe that does have FHR privileges as well. Do a search of AMEX Platinum in this forum for many, many detailed discussions of this card. Good luck.

The annual fee on the American Express Platinum Personal Card just increased to $450 from $395 (not to $475)--please don't increase it even more.

Why? It is an American Express product, not a Delta product.
