I know with US Air and other Star Alliance carriers if you book a flight at X rate and then the fare drops, you can call up and they will mail you the difference in fares as a voucher or you can cancel and rebook for the newest fare at the recuded rate minus the $100 cancel/change fee.
Does Asiana offer anything like this ?

Does Asiana offer anything like this ?I know that UA and US do that, but I do not think that it is that widespread among *A carriers. AFAIK, it is a North American thing. I do not think that European and Asian carriers do that. Clearly, if the fare is cancellable at a fee, then you can cancel and rebook. Otherwise, I am afraid that it is tough luck.
