Currently, AirRail runs between FRA and ZWS (Stuttgart Main Station) multiple times a day (every 2 hours).

Sorry if this is a ignorant question, but are airrail "flights" between FRA and Bonn comparable to FRA-ZWS "flights" (miles earned etc)?

BNJ-FRA in Y (i.e. 2nd class train) earns 1000 miles + elite bonus if applicable. These are status miles! I guess in C (1st class train) you will get 2000+ miles.
So you probably won't get a sandwich and drinks, but the mileage earned is pretty similar.
But make sure you still have your ticket stub when you leave the train. The miles almost never are credited automatically.

If the train between DUS and FRA via QKL (Koeln) and BNJ (Bonn)is an ICE (InterCity Express train), ask the conductor for the 10 EURO Lufthansa Voucher. It's valid in the train you are using for a drink or a snack in the dining car.

Really? I have never heard of this service before. I have to try this the next time I take the train to FRA. We'll see, if the conductor has heard of it ...
